Mental Overload Assessment Method Considering the Effects of Performance Shaping Factors

The assessment of mental overload is essential as has been proved to be a critical cause many accidents. Mental affected by various performance shaping factors (PSFs), and harsh PSFs will either increase the task demand or decrease threshold, which rarely considered in current method. This research proposes VACP-based model considers effects PSFs. In VACP model, can identified when sum values every unit greater than given threshold. human reliability analysis, are mainly used weighting modify basic error probability. our research, virtue quantitative relationship between workload, converted threshold for activities.
